Hispanic Heritage Month is an
important event that celebrates the contributions, diverse culture and
history of Hispanic people.

During this month, BIS will recognize
the work of some key Latino and Hispanic figures. See how many you recognize!

Students began their first mini Engineering Design challenge in STEAM. They will use a limited amount of materials to build a boat to see which one holds the most marbles before sinking. Critical thinking, problem solving skills, and collaboration are at work! #3RsBIS

Girls on the Run is coming back to BIS! Open to 5th and 6th grade girls. It will run during after school academy on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning September 24th. Please see the flyer and link for registration. A sliding scale is offered to offset fee if needed. If we have more girls than spots, GOTR will use a lottery system to select participants.
