Future engineers at work! Pre-k through 1st grade students used KEVA planks to build and test bridges while discovering what makes a bridge strong and steady!
2nd-4th grade Makerspace students put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building free-standing towers using spaghetti noodles, marshmallows, and coffee stirrers. Through hands-on problem solving, they explored balance, structure, and team work!
Kicking off Monday by celebrating our kindergarten readers! Logan & Eva are already curious & engaged during reading time. Mrs, Lovell's students practiced visually seeing their pulse using clay and a straw. When the straw moved, students could observe their pulse.
4th grade students made paper models of their hand to learn about tendons, bones, and muscles!
Mrs. Johnson's class enjoyed a beautiful fall day at Vessey Orchards!
Ms. Potetz's class is learning about literal and figurative hearts in Module 1 of Wit and Wisdom. Students are researching facts about Clara Barton, Helen Keller, and Anne Frank having a great figurative heart.
